Come to terms with being wrong, you'll have a healthier psyche.

The original goal post was that no one ever brings this topic up unless it is in relation to the Cowboys.

And here you are, in a Cowboys thread, trying to prove that Conference Championships are highly coveted with your only motivation being to "get the Cowboys"

You are wrong about nobody bringing it up. It comes up in relation to every team, usually in positive sense as an achievement. It is a sensitive and negative issue only in relation to Cowboys because it is unusual to see a team not contend for so long.

Here's when each NFC team last made an appearance in the NFL semifinals (parenthesis indicates last year a championship game was won):

The article you linked here is in relation to the Cowboys, case and point.

No one was even aware of the Commanders situation except for Commander fans and their own local media.

You guys can call me a pussy loser all you want, but I think this championship or bust mentality that pervades all of sports is pretty toxic. I think dismissing teams that make the playoffs when they aren’t expected to, or make deep runs in the playoffs consistently still deserve credit. I disagree that this stuff doesn’t matter.

Are they going to necessarily be remembered outside of those specific fan bases? Maybe not. But who cares? Doesn’t mean they didn’t accomplish something. Trying to dismiss EVERYONE that didn’t win regardless of what they actually did accomplish because you need to rationalize your loser team’s lack of accomplishments is kinda sad.

Hey I agree with this 100% and I do think there are successes below the Super Bowl.

But when fans bring this siht up? IT IS ALWAYS TO POINT A FINGER AT DALLAS

Where is the "State of the Commanders Union" thread at?

You guys might be able to explore the outer regions of the internet to find examples where it isn't, but my point remains in tact.

It’s because no one gives a crap about the Commanders. These guys would rather talk Cowboys than talk about their own city’s team. I won’t call them fans of the team in their city because they like to talk about the Cowboys more than any other team.

The Lions also hadn't made a conference championship game between the early 90s and last year.

The difference is that Cowboys fans still think they're hot ****, and Jerry Jones keeps them feeling that way, which is why it's fun to remind them of their loser ways.

Redskins fans under Dan Snyder had realized a long time ago that their owner sucked and nothing would fundamentally change while he owned the team.

And Lions fans were generally humble, that's why everyone was happy for their recent success, except maybe a few rival NFC North fans.

You were proven wrong so many times, if I find an example without Jerry Jones photo you'll just say it is invalid because the author once farted in Dallas airport

Lol you do realize state of the Cowboys thread was started by a Cowboys fan (or at the time he was). Insecurity stinks.

Speaking of BJJ though....where is dude?

He's either doing very well to combat his internet addiction of Jerry rants, or something happened.

I just find it extremely irrelevant to talk about the Cowgirls for the next 5 years. Nothing really to talk about. As long as Jerry is the GM we all know how things will end for them doing it his way.

I actually don't mind this take from you. I mean, you made this thread to talk about the Cowboys, but still, good mindset here.

Glad you're okay, I was slightly worried. I hate the Cowboys hater that you are, but as a living human I hope you're doing well.

Schotty does have charisma. Way more than a guy like Kellen Moore. So, I can see why Jerry wants him to stick around.
