It’s not true.
Cap number is different than actual salary.
Howie likes to push money into future void years.
I remember hearing the eagles have about 175 million in dead money coming around 2027.

It is his 2025 cap hit.

There’s nothing Howie does that every other team does.
Howie just borrows more from the future. It’s not a bad idea cause there’s always a rebuild year where you can reset your cap. The eagles will pay a big price one year for this. It’s not free.
But it will be well worth it cause they won.

My 1st cousin is a HUGE Cowboys fan & 3 of my good good friends are.

I hope they can turn it around eventually when not playing the Raiders.

You’ve been telling me this for like 10 years now, even before the Carson wentz contract. In those 10ish years the eagles have built 3 Super Bowl caliber teams (2017,2022,2024) , winning 2 super bowls. Clearly howie is doing something different.

They did have a year to adjust when they got rid of
Wentz and the QB rookie deal helped to adjust.
I like Howie for his trades. Getting those extra draft picks and having multiple first round picks was smart.
I’m just saying cap wise he does nothing differently. It’s the same manoeuvres that everyone does. He is willing to go further in debt though so I guess there’s that.

I'm sure they'll restructure and push his cap hit back further. It's much more logical and easier to do that considering the cap itself goes up ~$20M every year.

But honestly I'm not sure it even matters given this team won't spend a nickle on a decent free agent. So make room for what?

I mean, if they want to keep Parsons around, they can probably move things around as needed. But we never sign big FAs so I don't even care that much about cap hits.

In fact I might go as far as to say that free agency is this team's biggest short coming.

Maybe they could take a hint from the Eagles and Saquon, but they won't.

Free agency is so important in today's NFL. The draft is a complete gamble. But free agency is where you acquire proven talent. And we fail there hard.

Of course the graphic is true. But it’s not indicative of what they are paid. Cap hits are very different and manipulative.
I explained this in the post.

When did I ever imply what they are being paid?

All I did was post the graphic and asked if it’s true and you said “it’s not true”.

No… YOU must be trolling…lol

I wasn’t asking if that post was true or not, that post was made after my comment and contrary to popular belief, I can’t tell what happens in the future. I was asking if the graphic was true or not… Here let’s try this again…

Damn is this true? Holy **** ball sack!!!
