You celebrating a Super Bowl loss is literally you "COPING" with that reality.

I think you are confused, I am not sure what Niners have to do with a thread that literally says "State of Cowboys Union". Even if I was coping this wouldnt be the thread.

And please refer me to the person that celebrated a super bowl loss. Or do we need a lesson in false dichotomy?

I guess we start a new thread titled Turcos coping?

Go ahead, better than changing the topic to other teams to make yourself feel better.

Year is 2018, in a parallel universe a Cowboys fan is in charge of Chiefs, what does he do after losing in the playoffs?

A: Impressed by the progress, keep the team intact as much as possible.
B: Fire Andy Reid and trade Mahomes for being losers.

There is a difference between celebrating and being happy that you dont begin the season hopeless like Browns, Jaguars or Cowboys.

Still none of you answered the question, why do you watch the Cowboys games when you know you wont win the super bowl?

The new Cowboy fans don't want to look into the mirror when it applies to their team or even talk about them and admit it. They would just rather trash their rivals and other teams so they don't have to answer any questions about their own team.

Yeah I also found it odd in a thread about Cowboys half the posts are about Niners, large serving of copium for sure.

Talk about derailing a thread. I did notice that. But there are 3 things I'm trying to expose here so I want to play this thread out for a few more weeks.

I don't think they teach their kids very well in Texas. Borderline down syndrome.

Your reading comprehension is horrible.
This thread is looking back at 30 years and comparing legacies.
Can panther fans troll jets fans because they feel superior about their SB loss?
Your KC scenario is ridiculous.

No this thread is about Cowboys, nothing in the title says anything about "comparing" mr. reading comprehension.

I am just testing an hypothesis, would you pick A or B for Chiefs?

The thread literally mention 30 years. Of course we have to compare. The cowboys aren’t the only team in the NFL. This is just common sense.

Compare with what? Chiefs? Jets? Browns?

Why are avoiding the question again, A or B for Chiefs?

They'll be fine for a couple of years. But the problems will start for SF after Purdy gets his money & guys like Kittle, CMC & Warner start to age out. The first mistake was not moving Aiyuk when they had the chance. Instead, he got paid & then hurt.

Their window this year is closed.

Your question is not relevant in studying the past.
If a young team loses in the SB you obviously build on that and hope to improve the year later with optimism.
But here’s the important part.
When examining a SB loss years ago that didn’t lead to future SBs then those SB losses become useless.
Answer my question now
Does the Panthers SB loss give them any sort of bragging rights?

The left tackle and running back are on their way out too.

True. Trent Williams is near the end. Which has been a big piece for them.

In 2018 you dont know if it is going to lead to a super bowl or not, you can only go on with what you'd achieved by that time. But at least you accept progress is valuable even if the year does not end with a super bowl, took you awhile but welcome to rationality.

I am sure Panthers fans enjoyed watching their team more than Jaguars or whoever was the Cowboys of that time. Nobody brags or celebrates losing in the super bowl, that's just you fighting with wind mills.

They signed Aiyuk knowing they wont resign Deebo.

Anyway, you guys need a Niners thread, poor bjj is not getting the "state of Cowboys" discussion that he craves. A mod should fix the derailing of the thread.

My argument has not changed.
The context was evaluating the past.In that regard SB losses are irrelevant.
Your scenario had no relevance given the context of comparing the past.
