Imagine you were rooting for the Jaguars to lose over the last 29 years, how much joy that would have provided, and now realize the Cowboys have been losing even more in the postseason than the Jaguars.

Yet their trophy case is still better than both teams combined. 8-)

The Eagles and Cowboys both got 5 NFL championships.

If those from 50 years ago count than so do those from 80 years ago.

I agree. History is history. No chip can be taken away regardless of the era. Its the way I feel anyway. But I do remember this conversation taking place a couple years ago with the Cowboy posters where you and some of your Egals poster friends were telling the Cowboy posters something different.

The media draft coverage is just waaay overblown this year. Waaay over analyzation in a sh** draft. Waaay over analyzation on QBs, when everyone knows this QB class has MAYBE 2 dudes. This draft has a bunch of lineman, and a QB and a DB/WR. The over analyzation is bordering insanity

Very few players to move up to draft for long term if at all. I think because this draft is so weak the play is to move down. IMHO moving up is not worth it this year.

Kind of surprised that Gilmore is still available. I would love it if they brought him back.

I wouldn’t mind the trade down but I would require the Broncos to also include their 3rd or 4th round pick. I also would still take a WR at #20. Emeka Egbuka would be my pick or I’d be ok with Luther Burden. The only other person I would consider other than WR is OT Josh Simmons.

I still think Pat Summerall & Madden is the GOAT duo. But Patrick was damn good.

For me it was the SNF guys…followed by prime time with Berman and Jackson. Just a different time in the late 90s / early 00s

Seems like there are a lot of players on the trade block this season, more than usual.

Eagles would be absolutely out of their minds to do that. Ramsey is a cancer. I doubt they even do it with #13 attached.

Other rumor that keeps floating around is AJ Brown to New England. I mean if Abdul Carter is there at #4 and Philly believes AJ doesn't want to be on the team anymore and New England accepts. I think you run to the podium to make the pick. You got two of the best defensive prospects in the last 3 drafts and if Abdul translates his game at the NFL level your looking scary with Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter, Abdul Carter, Jordan Davis, Baun, Nakobe Dean and good depth with Trotter Jr, Hunt, Ojulari and Ojomo. You'd have to go get another WR maybe Kennan Allen or Allen Robinson on a 2 year deal makes sense or Amari Cooper but if Philly walks away with Abdul Carter they should ban Howie from the draft because he keeps robbing it

I honestly think philly would trade AJ brown before they trade devonta smith. I don’t think either get traded though, but maybe Dallas goedert AKA the only Dallas to win a Super Bowl this century, might be traded.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Abdul Carter’s career progresses. Clearly he’s the top pass rusher in this draft but to me there seems to be a bit of a bust factor to him.

People seem to expect him to be the second coming of Micah Parsons. I mean he went to Penn St and wears #11 so he MUST be Micah Parsons. He’s not though. He’s not as explosive as Micah. That doesn’t mean he won’t be great but there’s a chance that the team that drafts him expects Micah and will be disappointed when he’s not. Then throw in the knee injury. I might be a little leery of drafting him. Just saying.

I said it day 1 to all you guys on PSD, the only bust factor micah parsons had is if he got himself into trouble off the field. It was enough for me to want to stay away from him in the draft, luckily for him that hasn’t been the case. At least not yet.

I knew he’d be a really good player as soon as I saw this. He got that dawg mentality. Literally. Unfortunately sometimes he liked to do this on teammates in the locker room too which got him in trouble.
