To answer the question though, he would likely be the first 7th rounder to win a SB MVP award. I can’t honestly think of another 7th rounder that has won it. He wouldn’t be the lowest drafted QB to win the award though.

He’s getting the Dak treatment from a lot of NFL fans. They hate him simply because he plays for the Niners. Dak gets the same hate, although lately Dak has deserved the criticism for his playoff “performances”.

This is not too surprising. I’ve seen Niners fans on other platforms say that they have been shocked by how average Chase Young is. He sucked in Washington, why wouldn’t he suck in San Fran?

Saying Brock purdy is a top 12 QB is reasonable. It implies on a given Sunday he can be a top 5 guy to a top 12 guy. Which is the truth for most QBs in the top 12

I’ve typically defended him. He has his limits but he has his strengths

I’ve always said that the offense for San Fran is better now than it ever was with jimmy G

I don’t think just anyone could be the QB. I think he makes great plays. I think he’s definitely young. He makes a few mistakes, but I like some of the things he does on the field. He’s very crafty

I wouldnt say lately, since his rookie contract Dak has been underachieving and his total performance has been disproportionate to money he earns and adoration he gets from Cowboys fans. Flip side Purdy has massively overachieved, has already won twice the playoff games Dak did in a season and a half.

Purdy just doesnt look the part, if he was 6'5, could hurl 75 yards or if he ran 4.4 forty as a high first rounder you wouldnt have anyone doubt him. However people forget much of quarterback position is mental.
