Chris Johnson had a breakout year in 2009-2010. Is he considered the best NFL RB heading into the 2010 season? Your thoughts...

he certainly needs to be considered one of if not the best back in the league now
but i would not expect him to put up numbers similar to last year

Its a tough call between him and Adrian Peterson. Peterson has an injury history, though he has played all 32 games last 2 years, and developed a fumbling problem last year. Johnson depends on his speed a little too much (doubt he averages 5.6 yards a carry for a season again), but it hasn't hurt his production at all. I think most teams would like the physical running style of Peterson over CJ.
But I'd say this really is a situatiion of 1a and 1b. You're not doing bad with either guy.

If either went to USC, they'd have the nod over the other.

Yes. He has speed never before seen in the NFL before. He really has no weakness and although he isnt as physical as peterson or mojo he doesnt need to be because he can make it so defenders miss.
He also led the league in yards after contact so its not like physicality is a problem.
