So I just got this game the other day, and I'm trying to put together my Redskins roster. It let me cut a bunch of players who aren't on the team anymore, and it let me sign a few. For some reason though, now I can't sign ANYONE because apparently it will put me over the roster limit. Also, I can't cut anyone either, because it says it will put me below the roster limit. I tried trading for the guys that I needed to make the current roster, and it wont let me move ANYONE. For example, take a RG for instance. It wont let me trade a RG because it says I will then be under the roster limit for that position. So I try and sign a free-agent RG to give me an extra RG on my roster, but then it says that the roster is already full.

What the hell is wrong with this thing? Why wont it let me just trade/cut/sign whoever I want, and edit whoever I want, and then worry about roster numbers at the end?

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about and how to fix it?

Seriously, all I want to be able to do is make trades, sign player, cut players and edit players. Is that too much to ask?

ps3 or xbox?


i played it on ps3 and players would randomly dissapear during franchise mode all the time but on xbox i didnt have that problem.

delete extra players from positions where you have over the limit amount of guys.. so if you have 6 corners delete 1 and then theyll be room for a RG

You mean cut the player and it should open up a spot for another guy? I tried to do that, but it wouldn't seem to let me cut OR sign anyone, regardless of position. I'll give it another shot though. Thanks for the help.

I have PS3. I hope my copy of the game doesn't do that. I've been looking forward to this game for a while now.

Check your team breakdown, maybe it's because you can't go under the limit at each position, therefore you might be trying to get rid of a position where you're already at the minimum requirements.

why don't you just use the update roster option? or is that not as updated as it should be?

thats what i was saying haha if you have ample at one position, cut players from that position

The PS3 continues to astound me. I turned it on today and all of a sudden it lets me do everything I wanted to before that it wouldn't let me. I have no idea why it started working.

I would have recommended the roster update which can be found by going online to play.

$10 to be able to go online?!??! GOT DAM IT.

My roomate bought the game and the code is only able to be used by 1 person?

EA is making it where you have to purchase the game for any type of online play. I think there is a 5day trial or something. Gamefly and blockbuster won't be the same when it comes to renting games. Good ol' EA
