RIP Kenny McKinley

Post#1 » by berserker » Tue Sep 21, 2010 2:47 am

McKinley was found dead today in his apartment, likely cause is a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Terrible and tragic. Words can't describe how sad this situation is, especially for the little boy he left behind.

My condolences and prayers go out to anyone affected by this tragedy. Sad day for Broncos Nation, as this is the 3rd player in 4 years. RIP Darrent Williams, Damien Nash, and Kenny McKinley.

May you and Darrent have some killer 1 on 1 matchups in heaven.

Stunned by this. I interviewed him during Senior Bowl week when he was coming out and he was so enthusiastic about his future. Very sad, RIP Kenny.

3 times in Denver in 4 years. First Darrent, then Damien Nash, and now McKinley. RIP

Hard to believe the misfortune over the last few years, but this is as tragic as anything we've seen. This young man had all the tools to succeed....

Here's a really good column by Woody Paige about McKinley.
