Those coaches were on their way out anyway. Now if ya'll get Mike Smith fired next week, then I'll get a little worried. :P

So glad Childress is fired.

Took them long enough. Frazier should do a much better job.

I wonder how much of this had to do with the bad season, and how much of it was Favre's doing.

I wonder how much of this had to do with the players anonymously wanting coach fired...

It may have something to do with players relationship to Childress, but I don't think Favre has a lot of pull with the Vikings right now. He's not coming back and this season is lost, so it doesn't make any sense to make moves just placate him.

I think one of the Vikings players was saying earlier in the season " at least we didnt lay down and take it, like dallas". Well if thats the case then I think the Vikings whole franchise and fanbase "layed down and took it, by one washed up qb"

This wasn't childress' fault. Yea he lost control of the team, but this huge circus would never have commenced if Favre didn't come back and play like **** and the defense didnt show to ****.

This bad season is soley on the players.

Guess who's decision it was to bring Favre back? The head coach always holds some blame.
