I don't want this to get out of hand, but I do want point out that it was a black quarterback and a white running back at the end. I think it's great. I would say to Rush Limbaugh that the media is very desirous for a white running back to do well. Tongue-in-cheek of course.

When I saw the headline for this on ESPN, my first reaction was 'Wow... really?' This guy was, essentially, a no name this time last year and now he's gracing the cover of Madden. I hope he doesn't fall victim to the curse.

As for the whole black QB vs. white RB thing, I don't think it's a big deal at all. What I think the big deal is the fact that it was a guy who just got out of jail vs. a guy who plays for the Browns.

Good for Peyton Hillis, I also hope he doesn't fall victim to the curse. Wonder how McFadden and Felix Jones feel about this.

I'm thinking this is the last year that they'll have fan voting to decide the Madden cover.

very surprising when i first heard of the results. i was surprised when i found out he was at the finals against vick... even more surprised he beat vick... even more surprised he blew out vick in voting.
