carson palmer to indy?

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 6:59 pm

does a trade of carson palmer to indy make sense for both teams?

manning is out, maybe the year, the colts are a super bowl contender and palmer has said he will never play for cincy again. why not deal him for something?

makes sense for both teams, right?

not really. I don't think they are trying to save the season. If they were I think they would've gone for a better fill in guy then Kerry Collins. Not to mention, i don't think Carson Palmer is that great of a QB anymore. He'd be better then Collins, but I don't think it would make that huge of a difference record wise.

Making sense and the Cincinnati Bengals should never be used in the same sentence.

The concept of giving something up of value, even a 7th round pick, for a terrible quarterback like Carson Palmer and his terrible contract and his terrible attitude doesn't make sense either.

If the Bengals had any sense in them, they would have traded Palmer to the 49ers when they were desperate for a QB.

Carson Palmer should have been traded weeks ago....but Cincinnati front office is being stubborn

Colts are not a SB contender even w/ Manning back. They looked awful in every facet of the game.

I fully agree with this. I think that the Colts are trying to just play out the season and hope for a Spurs-esque season like they had when David Robinson got hurt and they ended up with the number one pick.

Carson would be a decent fit in Indy, but if the Bengals havent already traded him, I dont think they will period.
