Could Cam Newton Revolutionize the NFL in more ways than One

Cam Newton for my money is the most dynamic player and personality the NFL has ever seen ... and I think he knows it.
He has already broken the all-time rookie passing AND rushing yards in a season and is about to become the first qb in NFL history to pass for over 4,000 yards and rish for over 500 yards in the same season ... as a rookie!
I think it's conceivable that when all is said and done Cam Newton could be the NFL's all-time leading passing yardage and td king as well as someone who racked up 5,000 yards and 80+ TD's rushing which would be insane. He'd be to the qb position what Jerry Rice was to the wr position ... a stat machine.
However what I am really curious about is if Cam Newton is about to bring the NBA dynamic to the NFL.
We all know that NBA players force themselves to be traded to big market teams due to endorsement dollars and brand appeal, etc, and until know we have never really seen that in the NFL. It would surprise no one if top free agents in the NFL next year sign with small market teams like the Packers, Bengals, Colts, etc ... however to think an NBA star like Dwight Howard or the like would even consider signing with the Utah Jazz or demand a trade to the Milwaukee Bucks is almost unthinkable.
I believe Cam Newton has the same viewpoint and goals in life that Lebron James does ... namely that of maximizing his brand and earnings potential and becoming an icon.
After reading Cam's recent interview where he said he is a lion from the safari who can't be tamed and that either the carolina organization gets on board with him or he will leave ... sounded like ... well, Lebron, the self styled "King James" who's witness shoe had the image of a lion's face on the tongue.
I honestly believe there is a good chance that as soon as this offseason Cam Newton and his agent demand a trade from small market Carolina ... to the NEW YORK Jets!
While the trade could work out for the Panthers as they could possibly receive Mark Sanchez and a #1 or even more picks for Newton, it would set up King Cam the lion from the safari with his kingdom ... the big apple!
What do you think?
