Why is there so much hate towards the Patriots?

Seems like I can't go on a thread, in the NFL section without someone talking **** about the Pats? I mean seriously some of you act like their the only team, with a winning record (s). I find it funny how Rex Ryan and all his minions talk about winning the SB every yr, but no one really says anything??? I don't ever recall hate towards teams like the Cowboys of the 90's, 49rs of the 80's etc. Yes I do admit I was born in 1985 but still I don't hear people talking crap, about those teams. Don't get mad because we have a team that wins, a coach that knows what he's doing etc. Don't blame the Patriots, blame your team, your HC, your QB heck even your owner. Don't forget when Brady was drafted he was a nobody, no one expected him to be the way he is now.
Edit--enough with the spam already

I think a lot of the hate is generated from the spygate incident. That's personally why i dont care for them very much. I feel like the pats should have recieved a harsher punishment. Not to mention it almost seems as if the league favors them just a tad bit. But oh well that's the way the world turns. Their is always going to be people who have a bone to pick with winners.

no idea but i'm guessign it has to do with the fact that the patriots won 3 chamionships in 4 years.
they were a legit dynasty and people hate dynasties it seems, just like how i hate the stteelers for winning 2 spuper bowls in the past 6 years tho i probably wouldnt consider them a dynasty. i just hate them for winning.

I don't hate the patriots.
But I distinctly remember in their '07 season vs the Ravens, they got every single call on their game winning drive inside of the 2:00 warning to preserve their drive. That pissed me off.

They still would have lost if it wasn't for Sexy Rexy calling a timeout. Man, what's with Baltimores coaching and their ineptitude of when to use and when to not use a timeout?
I think if the Giants win, they'll be hated just like the patriots and just like the steelers and just like the cowboys.
Winning teams get **** on, more so in this era than any other I believe, because ESPN shoves them down your throats.

Spygate has people forever calling the pats a cheating franchise, even though it isn't true. Ravens kicker misses an easy kick, and it's the pats fault. They must have cheated. Where was the ravens timeout if they were confused? That is what people should be upset about. Also, I think Karmas has hit this team enough over the last 7 years or so, especially in the playoffs. People hate winning teams.

I think most pats fans don't see it because...well they are patriot fans..maybe if you could see it from others perspectives you would understand....eh there was also the tuck rule..I live in the Oakland san Francisco area and I know a lot raider fans that have been extremely bitter ever since.

A.) Nobody likes teams that win all the time.
B.) BB comes off as a complete douche.
C.) Brady comes off as a complete douche.
D.) Spygate
E.) Running up the score (although this is the NFL, so stop them and dont whine)
F.) All the patriots fans I know in person are Douches.
G.) Tuck Rule
And all of these reasons:
http://18to88.com/Articles/88hatepats.htmWith that said most Patriots fans on this board are reasonable and knowledgeable, but go Giants!

They are bitter because the refs eyed a legitimate rule in the playbook that is sitting there in black and white? The purest defintion of that rule, gave the Pats the ball. He could have easily called it a fumble, but he decided to be judicial and read it black and white word for word as to what the deciding out come of the play should be. If rules are considered favoritism or cheating, then your right, I don't see things from your perspective.

If the rules were called black and white holding would be called every play

Considering Saban is a Belichick disciple that would make some sense.
