Get your 84 jerseys out? Maybe. Randy Moss announced Monday he'll attempt a comeback next season.
When Moss announced his retirement last August at the age of 34, a lot of football fans thought it was too soon. The prevailing sense: Moss still has something left in the tank. Surely one of the greatest wideouts of all time has something to bring to the right team.
Well, Moss agrees. And he told several hundred fans via live broadcast on UStream. The broadcast conversation kicked off his 35th birthday celebration.
"Your boy is going to come back and play some football," he said, explaining he had some things he had to take care of in his life over the last few months, but that he was ready to give it another shot.
The future Hall of Famer walked away before the 2011 season with 153 career touchdowns, 954 receptions and 14,858 yards. http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/throwba ... ck-attempt

I love this guy, but i dont want him anywhere near the ravens. I dont think there is a market right now for 35-year old WR's.

He can still be a productive player, but in a lesser role as 3rd or maybe 2nd option and i'm sure his ego could live with that.

Maybe Hines Ward can be the QB.
I wouldn't mind Moss on the Panthers as someone to teach the young guys.

I'm not sure Moss is a guy I'd want as a mentor or a role player. His physical ability is what made him great, but his approach to the game leaves alot to be desired.

Moss, come to the Lions!
Megatron on one side, Moss on the other, with Stafford throwing bombs? How would you stop that?
Calvin is going to get loaded up on every play, meaning Moss gets single coverage - a QB's dream.
He'd be an upgrade over Burleson as our #2 guy. If it doesn't work, waive him. The Lions should be in pursuit of this big time, because of how cheap he will likely come. In their current cap situation, there aren;t going to many opportunities to add talent. They probably wont find a better talent for that price anywhere else.

Not a bad idea, especially with Moss publicly wondering if he's a better deep threat than Johnson.

Announced it to 200 people on UStream. That's sad.

According to SportsNOLA.com, free agent Randy Moss ran a forty time in the 4.39 to 4.40 range at Tuesday's Saints workout.

The Saints would have to have strong interest as they are losing Colston and Meacham. Not sure how much I buy into the 4.39 but he's done it before.
Keep him away from my Lions. Titus Young is the #2 and he really emerged late in the year. And the Lions cannot afford anyone anyways, not even at a vet minimum.

A WR with speed that actually knows how to play football. We haven't had that since Brees has been here!
Too bad Brees isn't here... lol.

I recall reading an article last year where Moss stated he just wanted to play for a city where he would be appreciated. With that in mind, I would not mind if Cleveland gave him a look. Their receiving core was awful last season, and though I expect them to go after some skill players in the first round, if they are not targeting RGIII that is, there should still be a place for Moss as a 2nd or 3rd option.

Just about every city would appreciate him if he helped the team win.

Here you go, my friend.
The San Francisco 49ers and receiver Randy Moss have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

What's wrong with it? If it doesn't work out, then you cut him. It's only a 1 year deal and isn't worth much $$.

Belichick has a stricter offensive structure than Harbaugh does. Moss still managed to excel there for a while.
