Should Manning go back to Tennessee just for the hell of it

it could be a good way to end a career. Titans could maybe get one or two more pieces to build a playoff team around Payton for one last go at a ring?

or Payton could go to the Jets and him and Eli could have some sort of NYC based reality show. one brother on the Giants, the other brother on the Jets.

or if the Brees situation doesn't turn out well, he could give the Saints 3 years, and go back to the city he grew up in, and take his dad's old job.

It would be a fitting end to his career. I would love to see him finish up in Tennessee.

The best fit for Manning may not pursue Manning. Houston with it's defense, and a very talented offense are prime for a QB like Manning, but it looks like the Texans would stay set with Schaub, which also has injury issues.

I have a feeling that Manning doesn't want to go to a team that already has an established quarterback. Schaub is pretty well established.

I'm a huge Manning fan, but I wouldn't make a prediction that bold. Not only would the team have to adapt to playing with a new quarterback, they're also getting adjusted to a new coaching staff.

Im a NY Giants fan and I'll say this...If Peyton Manning goes to Miami with that Defense..Then you add Reggie Wayne with B.Marshall, and Bess..With Bush and the other rbs...I see them going to the SB...Against...Who else, of course im going to say the Giants.

We don't even know what schemes the Dolphins are going to be using. I know that's a lot of potential talent on the same team, but we can't just assume that's going to be enough to win a championship.

Game is much different on the field than on paper.

See there's alot of times when I would agree on the potential etc..but in this case I dont.. Bottomline Good Defense, Good Wr's, game changer in the backfield,, and add in Peyton Manning. What scheme will they run? An Effective one..Can it be penciled in or booked in as a championship. No, ofcourse Not..but I see this as when The Patriots got Moss..You had a Good Team, Play makers on Defense, and you Add in one of the Best Wr's... I know its different with a QB..But that QB is Peyton Manning. Just like Farve in Minnesota, (and Peyton is Better in my opinion) you put a Great QB with A good supporting cast, and they will be contenders.

I don't see Peyton going to any NFC East or AFC South team. The former to avoid a 2x a year matchup vs. his brother and the latter because he's still emotionally tied to the Colts and he'd just as soon avoid the drama/bittersweet return "home" once a year.

NFL players are competitors above all else. There wouldn't be any less motivation to win if he did play vs. the Giants or Colts twice a year. It just takes some of the fun out of competing.
