Absolutely not. It wasn't 'cheating'..it didn't help them win games. They were just un-ethical actions.

But I thought money was passed out, and I thought the monetary terms were not spelled out in the contracts, and that the cash did not count against the cap. How is that not cheating?

if Payton and this group of Saints don't win another Super Bowl, then Bountygate, and being known for cheating and playing dirty will define Sean Payton and these Saints.

they were probably doing this during their championship run, so i don't consider cheaters as Super Bowl champions.

Or the official NFL record book could change to reflect the winner of the SB as the New Orleans Stains so the people in the future can at least understand what kind of people were associated with the team and what the team was about.

They did win, but they stained their legacy, "so it was done so it shall be written"? How ironic would that treatment be for a bunch of "saints".

NO. that championship was forfeited as soon as bush left town. theyre done. close the curtains. end of story. it was a nice story though when bush was there, the whole city and state was revived due to reggies glorious revitalization work. but as soon as he left town, the glory days are now only in the past . . .
