Warren Sapp Bashes Monte Kiffin

In his new book, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman Warren Sapp took the opportunity to blast his former defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin.

I always believed Kiffin (blitzed) so much because he wanted the glory; it made him feel like a great defensive coordinator.

"blast" "bashes"

a DC who blitzes is seriously . . . not a big deal. i think its a common event that occurs weekly, by defensive coordinators throughout the league.

Sapp might be second to only Favre in fitting the term "attention whore". Just shut up, big man!

If bashing his former DC is as raunchy as the book gets, he's going to have some trouble recovering from his filing bankruptcy.

Hated this guy since he cheapshotted Clifton. Wish he'd just go away.

Kiffin ran a Cover 2 defense. There's not a lot of blitzing in that scheme. They depend on the front four to generate a rush.
