This shouldn't surprise anyone who reads my stuff regularly...I've said it for years now, there will be teams in Toronto (the Bills) and London by the time the next TV contract is done.
http://tracking.si.com/2012/06/28/new-england-patriots-robert-kraft-nfl-london/The primary holdups are scheduling times and visa issues for all the players involved in the legal system.
My leading candidates are the Jaguars and Rams, but keep an eye on Oakland if there is a sale.

I have a hard time believing a single European team is feasible. They'd need a European division.

I loved Kraft's assertion that the Patriots should play in London every year. AS THE VISITOR.
I'm sure every team would love another free home game Rob.

This is an idiotic idea IMO. First of all, teams are gonna hate having to travel to London for away games. And second of all, that London team..
1) will have to travel overseas and back 8 times atleast during a season
2) How are they going to get players to sign with them? Why would the best american players want to go live in London? That team is gonna be horrible cause the only guys that will go play for them are the guys who can't get jobs anywhere else.

So, the Jaguars have reportedly agreed to start playing multiple home games in London starting next season.
Can we just move them over there like everyone already thought was going to happen?

The first one isn't that big of an issue. They'll have a base of operations/practice facility in the states and the schedule will have them home for 3 weeks, away for 3 weeks. It's shorter than what WAC teams travel to/from Hawaii and shorter than SD/SEA to BOS/MIA.
The second one is the real problem. Costs of living there are apparently brutal, taxes are different, all the travel hassles for offseason and family, etc. And there's also the real problem of convicted criminals getting access into the country. Any player convicted of a drug crime would have to file a special petition to get into the country, and any player with a gun arrest will nto get into the country. Stole that from Andrew Brandt.

A patriot owner wanting a football team in london ... oh the irony.
