This CHI/GB game is proof good teams can have terrible offensive lines. Wow are they both just awful and incompetent.

The way these two QB's have been hit tonight, will be surprised if someone doesn't get knocked out in the 2nd half.

Clay Matthews throwing his hat into the Defensive MVP ring. Hell he just vaulted to the top with a bullet. Awesome performance even though J'Marcus Webb is embarrassing at tackle. Dog of a game.

This game really made me appreciate the Niners offensive line.

That was the type of defense the Packers played a couple years ago during the Super Bowl run. Changes in the secondary made a huge difference. M.D. Jennings to Jerron McMillian and Jarrett Bush to Sam Shields. Hopefully that plants Jarrett Bush's ass to the bench for good on defense.

I thought McMillan did well, have to break down the tape though. Kept plays in front of him and didn't overreact to what was going on around him, what you want from a safety in his role of the defense.

I got home late and missed the game and turned it on and first play I saw was in the 4th quarter when J Webb gave up a sack. It made me chuckle since I just saw a report a couple days ago saying how much he improved. That lasted about 10 seconds from turning on the TV lol.

Well they don't have very many good players on the team.

they need a better oline and they have good players at the skill positions on offense

I disagree, well I mean I agree that they do have good players but not enough of them and that's the issue, they need some better weapons in addition to a much better OL, but they also need defensive help too. I think they have one of the messiest teams for the long-term and I predict in a couple of years they will compete for the top draft pick. They are heading in the wrong direction and need to do a u-turn.

Better weapons? They have a top 5 RB and a top 10 WR and QB on their team (although I could see Cutler not being that high). But yeah, their defense and offensive line are horrible.

Cutler is not top 10, and he isn't fresh and young and he will be a problem. They pay him a lot of money and they aren't going to win a SB any time soon. They should rebuild and trade him now while they can.

Brandon Marshall if that's the one you are referring to I think is overrated, as is Forte. Both are good, but not as good as people think, and beyond them they have really weak RB/WR/TE. That's only 3 good weapons who to me are all flawed weapons for one reason or another to boot such that they aren't superstars by any means. I want to see them with 10 good weapons that I approve of. And they are coming up way short and I think they are a failure of a team.

Casey Hayward in the nickle package played really well too. Typically McCarthy/Capers make rookies earn it before starting them or throwing them onto the field, but I think they realized they needed to get the talent on the field now or risk having a repeat performance of last year defensively. McMillian was such a huge upgrade from Jennings last night, and you had Hayward and Worthy making some big plays too. Not to mention Perry and Moses rotating in. Lots of youth there which will cause growing pains, but hopefully produces a better result by the end of the season.

totally agree. prime time billing with everyone watching. Just relentless around the corner. Folks who think this stuff is easy, need to watch last nights tape. It is a nightmare staring at this guy comin around the corner, relentlessly, each and every play. The tackle webb though is a scrub. But Defensive MVP? Im gonna have to go with someone from that 49ers defense, maybe Willis. As I dont think greenbays overall defense is going to help Matthews case.

Justin Smith is the DMVP for me, because without him, that 49ers defense would go from amazing to above average. He's consistently double teamed and never really gets the media love he deserves.

Revis out vs. Pittsburgh.

Freeney out for IND.
