Not looking forward to facing that Falcon passing attack, but I do have some optimism we can win. The Falcons are one of the worst rushing Ds in the league and we have the league's best rushing attack with RG3 and Alfred Morris. I think we have a shot at the upset. Most likely gonna be a shootout though between Matty Ice and RG3.

I should be confident in the Giants' abilities against Cleveland, but this is just the type of game they decide to f*ck up after a rough loss.
I really hope it's a 42-0 blowout. They need to get their swagger back.

The Browns aren't that bad. Their D is solid. But they can't score. The Giants should win, but who really knows with them.

Giants know what they're doin. I just don't put money on them when it comes to philaadelphia. Its like kryptonite for them. But other teams, they're good.

Jeff,
wtf is going on in the world of Dez Bryant? Is his psyche so discombobulated by his troubled upbringing that he will never care enough to be a great football player?

I see a great spot fot the Rams to pick up the win tomorrow. This Arizona team is not getting 5-0 on the road.

Eagles-Steelers should be fun. Don't know if the Eagles luck can hold up, especially in Pittsburgh.
But the Steelers have struggled against the run, which is obviously something the Eagles can take advantage of in a big way with Mccoy and Vick.
Steelers D is tough, especially with Polamalu and Harrison coming back, but the Eagles offense has been pretty effective the last 2 games against two other pretty tough defenses (Ravens, Giants).
I'll be a homer and go with Eagles over Steelers in another close one.

"Can" is the operative word. Reid seems to HATE the idea of running the offense through McCoy, which is insane to me. He's an elite back (obviously), but that team would be SO dangerous if they could sell play action. Vick would get roll out opportunities, and Jackson and Maclin could REALLY make a cheating secondary pay.

It should be close. Pittsburgh's D isn't what it was. Polamalu's free-lancing doesn't work quite like it did 3 or 4 years ago. Harrison has become vastly overrated. He was beaten like a rented mule against Denver last year. It was like the only thing he knew to do was run in a straight line at the QB. Containment doesn't seem to be in his vocabulary. I'll take the homer pick the other way though -- Steelers by 3.

I think that is probably reading too much into it. He's far from the only wideout that has $100 physical ability but a $.10 head. BUt to your point, I don't ever think his elevator reaches the upper floors. He desperately needs a veteran mentor the way Randy Moss got Cris Carter, but Dallas is so devoid of leadership that don't think it can change.

Just sent in my forecast column. Went 13-2 last week which emboldened me to make a truly stunning upset pick this week: Cleveland over the Giants.

Looking forward to the Bears to put a whooping on the Jags this week. Expecting a huge game from Cutler and Marshall and hopefully Forte can get a good amount of reps to get him back into the flow of things.
Also hope the Panthers can pull out a win this week. Defense really needs to pick it up a notch, and Russell Wilson might be the person to help us get jumpstarted.

Legatron is the best kicker in the league. He's like Sea Bass with better accuracy (and maybe a better leg).

The terrible QB play in this STL/ARI game is why having a great defense can only take you so far. Neither Kolb nor Bradford can handle any sort of pressure.

The Cardinals OL is just terrible. Tough to slam Kolb when he's running for his life on every throw, but he's got to get the ball out quicker. 46 dropbacks, 9 hits, 17 hurries, 7 sacks.
Nice coming out party for Robert Quinn, one of my faves in the '11 draft.

How many sacks has the Arizona line given up tonight? Jesus

16 sacks in two games for the Arizona offense line, wow.

Both of these teams are just horrible on offense, but the NFC West clearly has the best defenses in the league.

16 sacks allowed, 50 (50!?!) QB hits in two games for the Arizona offensive line. 6 of the sacks and 21 of the hits are on LT D'Anthony Batiste. They also have 9 penalties in that time.
