Seattle caused the biggest uproar during draft night by taking a guy who was projected to be a 3rd round pick, in the high 1st round.

after the draft, some people called Bruce Irvin a Von Miller clone, and other said that he was a wasted 1st round pick.

Who knows how the season is going to turn out, but keep going the way they are, Irvin is on pace to get double digit sacks in his rookie season.

Mt. Sac Junior College. The most prolific Junior College program in California. The Top Junior College in the nation. He was awesome when I saw him there. He was also recruited by Pete Carrol who had seen him there. And when he was drafted, many doubted . . . BUT THE SHOW KNEW, he was going to be special.

I didn't think he was a particularly bad pick. I thought Kandall Wright and Brandon Weeden were the two big reaches of the first round. Irvin has some special talents and if used properly can be a stud.

Did he even play vs. SF? I don't recall seeing him do anything and he didn't show up in the box score for even half a tackle.

I saw him get double teamed quite a bit.

Who said he was a 3rd round pick? Most of the mock sites I saw had him as a borderline 1st/2nd rounder.
