I dislike RG III

The fact that his name is Robert Griffin the third which is pretty much as annoying as a name can be. Then he has done nothing in the NFL yet he get a special nick name? I can't stand his name nor getting a nickname so early on and he hasn't done anything special so I just hope he doesn't do well in the NFL.

This is not a bait or nothing this is my own personal opinion of the new redskin QB.

LOL. He got that name in college and they probably call him that because it's shorter than saying Robert Griffin the Third.

It's not a special nickname. It's his initials, and it's the #3 for the fact that he's named after his Grandfather and Father. He didn't come up with it, someone else did while he was dominating at Baylor.

And he hasn't done anything in the NFL? The guy has taken a terrible franchise and has them within a game of the NFC East and is playing QB at an elite level.

Pretty silly to dislike someone just because of their nickname. Dude is humble, soft spoken, he's breaking records, and is potentially going to carry the Skins into the playoffs. The nickname is more than warranted, he's the face of the city as far as athletes are concerned.

It annoy me because Robert Griffin 1 and 2 was not famous so for his father to name him Robert Griffin the third well to me it a douch bag move by his father. Kevin Durant is humble and I don't like him either. It just the name that bother me, like he suppose to be special or something. I think parents who name their children like that think their children are better than everyone else, and it just irk me.

If his name was James Griffin or something then it wouldn't bother me. But any name with JR or a letter representing a number after the surname just bother me. I don't hate RG3 just his name.

It make sense from my view anyway. But why can't we call him Robert Griffin instead of Robert Griffin the third?

I feel parents name their children after themselves because it builds a tradition and legacy. Some people just like a certain name. I do kinda agree with you though that parents who name their children after themselves can seem arrogant. But still your reason to hate is ignorant. Anyway to quote Shakespear, " rose by any other name would smell as sweet". If his name was John Doe you would still be a great QB. Just because you weren't famous does not mean you are not a good person or didnt live a fulfilling life. Snookie is famous but that doesnt mean people should start naming their babies Snookie the second.

He didnt even choose his name either so I dont know how you gonna hate for that. Thats some pre-K ****. If you go look at his birth certificate it probably says Robert Griffin III, thats just his name. People call him RGIII because its his name I wonder what your name is? Would it make any sense to you if some person you know hated you just because of your name? Though I doubt RGIII cares what anybody on an internet message board thinks.

The biggest name puzzler in the NFL is Titus Young. On the back of his jersey it says Young SR. Lol
