Could Lebron Play NFL QB?
I know he was a standout WR in high school. I bet he's got a helluva arm. He'd have such a height advantage and be able to see the entire field easily as well. I'd take him on the Vikes right now. Run the option with Adrian, sick city!!

Lmao. Two completely different sports as far as translating talent. Just because you are a standout in hs, doesn't mean you are destined for the SEC.

Yes he could.
He would be a monster as a TE though, unstopable.

Being tall does not automatically equate to having great field awareness.
Drew Brees is pretty short for a QB yet he sees the field with the best of them.
Also, I hear something called accuracy is important for a QB as well, and we have no idea whether LBJ can accurately throw a football.

LMAO, how do you go from "he's good at running and catching" to "he must be good at throwing?"
Lebron was a good WR in high school, could he be a pitcher for the Yankees?
Lebron was a good WR in high school, could he win the discus throw at the Olympics?

This is RealGM, where every great NBA player would be an all-time great at any other sport.

Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

I still believe he could be able to make an NFL roster pretty easily.

Re: Could Lebron Play NFL QB?
Kind of funny how many threads we've had in the last couple of days abt what LeBron could do with an NCAA team, with the Magic or in the NFL... what's next?
Maybe we should focus on Heat-LeBron? He'll turn 28 in a couple of weeks. Entering the second half of his prime.
It'd be a more interesting question to ask: what if the Heat don't win it in 2013?
Will LeBron be labelled a choker again?
Does he have to win 2-3 more rings to match his talent and potential?

Re: Could Lebron Play NFL QB?
Lebron is a great player but let's not overrate him. At best he would be a fringe TE in the NFL. The reason he's so dominant in the NBA is because he isn't constantly being tackled by 250+ pounders. The average TE weight is about 255 pounds, at an average height of about 6'4"/6'5". Lebron is 250 at 6'8", he would need to gain a lot more mass to be an effective TE in the NFL.
