I don't care if he disrespects the media(most of them are bloodsucking vampires)but you really should never disrespect the fans. They are the reason you get paid millions of dollars to play a game for a living.

media plays as much a role in him getting paid millions as fans.

That quote is being taken out of context. In order to understand his quote, you need to listen to the audio version.
Urlacher was asked about Lovie possibly being fired. He responded by defending Lovie & basically saying that the fans/media are not aware of the type of job Lovie does with the team. He was mostly slamming the media (something we all do on this board) because they portray themselves as football "experts". The only true controversial thing that he said pertained to the fans booing the home team. We should, at least, try to be fair about his actual comments.
Keep in mind that Trent Richardson of the Browns & Big Ben of the Steelers both criticized their coaches Sunday/yesterday.
