Tomorrow (or today if you look at it like that) is the day where a few coaches are going to be fired. There's already a report that Andy Reid has been told he's fired (big surprise).

Report about Andy Reid being fired...

According to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie has already told coach Andy Reid he’s fired.

The move ends a 14-year run for Reid, who was the longest-tenured active coach in the league.

The amount of people that I know that are ecstatic with this move is incredible. And if you ask me, they should fire pretty much everyone on their coaching staff, too and start fresh with whoever Andy Reid assembles.

Adam Schefter just said on Sportscenter that Chicago is going to actively shop around for a head coach, which means Lovie Smith is probably out in Chicago.

Romeo Crennel has been fired by the Chiefs, which is no surprise, but I don't understand why Scott Pioli hasn't lost his job.

Whisenhunt is out as well as the gm. somebody should pick him up quickly, he did a pretty good job in Arizona considering what he had to work with.

Whisenhunt too? Hot damn I can't remember a firing spree like this. 7 coaches the day after the season, ouch.

it is just perfect storm. only one i don't agree with is Whisenhunt, rest are either long tenured coaches that weren't taking their team in positive direction anymore or proven losers. could've given Shurmur more time but i don't blame new ownership trying to instill their own people.

Everything I've been reading from Jacksonville sources say it'll be up to the new GM to fire Mularkey, or not, but I think they'll really need to clean house.

I'm in the same boat about Whisenhunt, but it seems like another fresh start is what they need.

I'm still wondering what the situation will be with Ron Rivera in Carolina and what Jerry Jones is thinking with his bitch boy.

i think Mularkey's fate depends on whether or not Reid agrees to go to Jacksonville.

Ron Rivera is rumored to be fired after a meeting with Jerry Richardson...I think.

I've never been a big fan of bringing in a general manager and forcing him to accept the current head coach.
