This game is also known as: The HarBowl, since Jim and John Harbaugh are the first brothers in the history of the NFL to square off against each other on the grandest stage in football.

This is also the last game in the career of Ray Lewis, who despite any sort of off-field shortcomings, is one of the greatest defensive players in the history of the game; it could also possibly be the last game in the career of other future HOFers, like Randy Moss and Ed Reed.

The spread has the Niners (-3.5) and the O/U is (ironically) at 47.

Discuss all things Super Bowl XLVII during this weekend.

Ravens 30 - 49ers 24

I think Flacco continues his impressive throwing from the AFC Championship game, and I don't think Kaep lives up to expectations.

I don't see a blowout by either side. Should be a good game. Close score.

Lifelong Niners fan(since the early Montana days), so Im extremely excited for this game. Trying to look at it logically match up wise, Im really curious as to why the run game matchup hasn't been highlighted by many analysts this week. The focus tends to be Ravens D vs Kaepernik, which while important is only one aspect of the Niners dynamic offense.

Defensively for the Niners, they are one of the top run defenses in the league. The Ravens have been running the ball extremely well this playoffs, but they've yet to face a defense like the 49ers who can stuff the run. Looking at the game last season between these two they did an amazing job keeping Rice from having a big day(2.8 ypr), which is key for the Ravens to open up the passing game for Flacco.

Offensively for the Niners, their run game is arguably the best in the league. Even before Kaep took over the reigns, the Niners where known as a ground and pound team with the best offensive line in the game and HoF lock Frank Gore as their main back. What strikes me as odd is the lack of analysts pointing out how poorly the Ravens have defended the run this post season, giving up over 140 yards per game over the last 3. You'd think with the way SF runs the ball that the fact that the Ravens have done so poorly against the run would get more headlines.

I think on paper the Niners should win this by a sizeable margin in large part due to their ability to run the ball and stop the run, but there are plenty of ways they could lose this on the field. First concern has to be Kaep, how he handles the biggest stage of his young career. Second concern has to be Akers, if the game ends up being close you have to think a kicker who's had a shaky year is going to be nervous as hell in a game of this magnitude.

Should be a incredible game either way; either Ray Lewis walks off a champion a la Elway, or we witness Kaeps surprising rise to super bowl immortality a la Brady.

It's hard to throw various defensive packages against the Niners right now because defensive coordinators are hamstrung by having to commit certain players to containing the zone read option. Capers is one of the better ones out there, and he had to simplify his game plan against it. You got to have all eleven defenders available to mix up coverage.

I want the Niners 27-24 on a last second field goal. Break Ray Lewis' heart and make El Turco sport a Michigan username and anti-Ohio State sig. Awwww yeeaah.

Plus I think Kaepernick is bad ass. I want to see him win.

Of course all you Niners win big predictors are throwing a lot of money on the Niners given that 3.5 point spread, right? 'Cause that's like a no-brainer, right?

I don't have a ton of money to throw on the Niners but I did bet 50 on them covering.
