Gronkowski Offered $3.75M For Porn Role

Rob Gronkowski has been offered $3.75 million to make a pornography film with Bibi Jones.
Gronkowski posed for photos with Jones, an adult film actress, in 2011 and 2012.
Sex.com made the offer to match his 2014 base salary.
The press release from the adult website said Gronkowski had “the attitude to be a hugely popular male adult star.”

I agree, like a previous poster mentioned he is more then likely already bangin her, so why not get paid several million dollars to do it?

Because he's already rich and he doesn't want to be that guy? I'm not saying he should or shouldn't do it, but it would change the way he's viewed.

He doesn't want to be "that guy?" Gronk has been "that guy" since he entered the league.

But no, I don't think it would be a great move. Don't see it being career threatening at all, but not a smart one.

The guy goes to nightclubs and whatnot and rips his shirt off willingly knowing of the amateur paparazzi around him. He's a different breed of celebrity athlete, in terms of him not really caring how his image is portrayed by the media. There'd honestly be no repercussions to him doing this besides his teammates and the pundits cracking jokes every four seconds.

Okay, so "ruin his career" was an exaggeration, but his image would be undoubtedly tainted.

WHY NOT? Your only gonna have 1 chance to make this kinda money. He wont get multi-million dollar offers after he leaves the league, thats for sure.

I think it's dumb that doing a porno could meaningfully hurt someone's image, but the reality is it probably would ruin other potential sponsorships. Then again Kim Kardashian's sex tape didn't hurt her career...
I guess it comes down to whether or not the $3.75M is worth more than whatever else is/could be on the table for him... which only Gronk knows. I wouldn't turn it down just because some people out there would think less of me though.

Well he is the best TE in Football, he's 24 years old and with his size he has at least 10 years left in the league, so this isn't his 1 chance to make this kinda money, it would be the 1 chance to make this kind of money for me or you but not for Gronk. You're right that he won't get multi million dollar offers after he leaves the league but like I said, barring injury, he's gonna be in the league for a long time and he's going to make alot of money, alot more than 3 mil that's for sure

"barring an injury" is a big if in nfl, nobody is guaranteed next 3 years let alone 10 years.
