Mike Wallace to Miami

Mike Wallace has been linked repeatedly to the Miami Dolphins, and now it's official.

NFL.com's Jeff Darlington reported Tuesday on NFL Network that Wallace and the Dolphins have agreed to a contract.

Reportedly a 5 year/$65 million dollar contract.

From my pats cap pov, it's meh. See him more in the division, but I'd rather him there than a contender like Pittsburgh.

Miami had a decent team last year, lost a few close games. I think they'll make a run for the WC next year.

I don't normally doubt Tomlin, but I don't know if you can call the Steelers a contender right now, especially with all of the roster changes going on.

While I certainly wouldn't want my team to do it, sometimes, you have to overpay to get free agents to come to a team that isn't really a contender.

Agree. The issue becomes eating the excess $$ at the end of the overpaid deal when the team still isn't winning.
