I'd rather they look to the draft for a QB. I know the temptation is to look for a quick fix because of Peterson, but I think they're going to need a few years to build up their defense.

agree but by the time that QB fully develops most of their stars will be past their prime

Outside of Peterson, the rest of the Vikings older stars may be on the way out anyway. Allen and Williams are free agents and could be gone next year. On the other side, Patterson, Rhodes and Harrison Smith are in their first 2 years and should be good for a while.

he's not old enough for the vikes to chase after him yet, needs to be closer to being past his prime

The Titans seems to be interested but I could see Minny being a possibility.
