He isn't really. He plays behind a dreadful pass blocking scheme, that doesn't allow TE Miller to run receiving routes more often, Baldwin and Tate are very good (I really love Baldwin) but rather inconsistent WRs, Kearse is promising but isn't quite there as your main deep threat, and Bevell's playbook is quite conservative.

The only one who's consistently helping Russell Wilson to thrive is Marshawn Lynch. Teams stack the box against Lynch and opens up a lot of space between the secondary and LOS.

His role and environment looks way too similar to Big Ben's in early carreer.
