Re: super bowl prediction thread
Seattle over New England
I don't usually make boring picks, and I hate New England, but they have a cake schedule as usual, will have HFA, and are MUCH healthier than last year and added Revis. If Gronk and those returning defensive guys stay healthy, they will be tough.
I wouldn't count out the Broncos though, as they could always beat them, and Brady has kind of choked in the playoffs lately.
I will say that I think dark horses could be the Cards and Eagles in the NFC. Especially the Eagles given their division.
Hard to see anyone else from AFC....North seems pretty even...
I have faith Chargers will compete against Denver and NE though, but they have to play those two, (Denver twice, KC twice, AZ, SF, SEA) so they will likely miss the playoffs. Still think they could beat anyone any given week though.

You forgot the annual guarantee that the Bears will start like 9-3 and fans get their hopes up and then they finish 9-7 and barely miss the playoffs.

AFC East: Patriots
AFC North: Bengals
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: Broncos
Wild Cards: Chargers and titans
afc comments:
- don't feel good about the bengals losing two coordinators but i kind of have to go with them by default
- nothing terribly impressive about the colts other than lucks ability to just win games, have to go with them until he proves otherwise - another default pick
- if the broncos slip at all the chargers will be right on their heels
- last wildcard spot is tough a number of teams could stumble into it (ravens, steelers, texans, chiefs (if they don't fall off the wagon)
NFC East: eagles
NFC North: Packers
NFC South: Saints
NFC West: rams
Wild Cards: seahawks and falcons
nfc comments:
- east is another by default, giants will be better, cowboys where they always are (hovering around .500) and i don't know what to make of the redskins
- other teams competing for the wild card: bears, niners, maybe panthers if they don't fall off the wagon and maybe the giants
- i know, i know bradford is out but i was going to pick it like this before he got hurt and i don't want to change it - resurgent shaun hill here i come!

5 Bold Predictions Sure to Go Wrong:
- One of bortles, manziel and bridgewater will not play at all this year, and none will start before week 9
- Gronk, vick and RG3 will all be injury free the whole year
- The bills won't finish last in the afc east
- 49ers ceiling is 8-8
- elite manning will rebound and be a top 10 qb

To this date, the SHOW is still the only one to accurately predict the Superbowl Champion Saints...led by of course...the President. Mr. Bush
This year, Mr. President resides with the Lions, however they have 1 other thing going for them. A New Coach! Most prognisticators are going with Green Bay. But I think they've got the right division, just he wrong team. We shall see....
Finally, as for your 49ers? Harbaugh is still a college minded coach. He believes in loyalty to an offensive coordinator. But in the league, you gotta do like Bellichek. Those guys come and go. Why? Because there is waay too much game tape. Too much technology. Too many tendencies. You get figured out. The 49ers offensive system has been figured out. And that will be their downfall.

Eagles beat out the broncos, manning taken out the game by fletcher cox sack in the 1st 5 minutes of the game. Brock the cock osweiler comes in and makes a heroic last minute comeback, but matt prater slips and misses the chip in

I'm not a Seahawks fan. and I think they're going back to back. pete Carroll and Russell Wilson are the new bilichick Brady. btw that team added talent they're better than last year's team.
Seahawks 1st
other contenders
saints 4th
patriots 2nd
broncos 3rd
who am I missing....
packers? that's a stretch I say
