Actually the Skins picked 10th that year. They traded down with the Jags to pick up Ryan Kerrigan.
Reg. the redo, Watt probably should go #1 but teams always value QB more so I think Newton would still go #1.
Looking back though, man that draft class was absolutely loaded, especially when you factor in non 1st round picks like Kaepernick and Sherman.
