You must protect yourself at ALL TIMES out there on the football field.
Football play is still in action when foles gets blown up.

Explain Suh's fine for a "dirty block" on an interception a season or two ago? Wasn't even close to being that dirty, and Suh was at least attempting to make a play on a guy pursuing the ball. Now we're going to let a guy blow up a QB who has his back to the play? That's a dangerous precedent to set. I honestly don't see how this doesn't result in a suspension. The league can push player safety all they want, but if they don't do something in response to that play, it just suggests it only matters when it's a big name player getting hurt. Foles was already hurting and the guy took a shot at him with that knowledge. I have no problem with guys hitting hard in the course of the play, try to rattle a guy, or aggravate an injury that might affect his play. As long as it's within the confines of the game and not a blatant cheap shot. That was nasty.
If the name on the back of that jersey was Brady, Brees, Kaepernick, Manning, Rodgers, or Wilson, the league would have already released a statement.

a guy making an attempt to make a tackle, is a guy who is fair game for a hit. Its the reason why peyton manning and other QBs just stop after an interception. When a QB or anyone from the offensive side of the ball, makes an attempt to make a tackle after a turnover, they are now defense, and offense turns blockers.
Foles is clearly attempting to make a play on the ball and made attempts to stop individual who had the ball. But got rocked.

I believe they changed the rule a few years ago or so that made it so you couldn't just destroy QBs on turnover returns.
I like Baker's passion but he has got to be smarter(this is a problem with the Skins as a whole, too many discipline problems and bad penalties). There was NO NEED for him to just destroy Foles there. He got himself ejected which may have proved costly since we could muster 0 pass rush late in the game especially in the interior.

Dude is still jogging toward the action, only a few yards away. Whos fault is that? Ahole is not even paying attention! I GUARANTEE THAT AINT HAPPENIN AGAIN! Now I don't want the dude to get hurt, but hiding behind the rules aint a excuse. Keep your head on a swivel, and if your a QB, after a turnover, know that you are a protected species by the NFL higher ups, and beware! Watch highlights of foles after the next turnover. I guarantee he is jogging straight back to his own sideline and right next to his coach!

I'm just saying that hit looked identical to the 2009 hit the saints did to Kurt Warner in the playoffs.
We later on found out that indeed it was intentionally dirty from the bounty scandal.
When I saw that play it reminded me of it

It's an illegal play but I don't think it's dirty, Shame on Foles for not being more aware, he has to know he's a target. It wasn't as bad as Suh's hit on Sullivan IMO.

It may not have been technically dirty but it was unwritten rule dirty.

NFL rules that it was a legal hit.
I'm just glad he won't be suspended. Need all hands on deck with our decimated D to beat the Giants tomorrow night.
