Good surprise: Giants at 3-2. I thought they would be awful this year, like 4-12 bad, but they've turned things around. Cowboys are up there too, but they've always had a good offense and their schedule has been favorable early.
Bad surprise: Saints at 2-3. I had them going to the Super Bowl. But they still got a shot, their division isn't very good.

I'd agree w/ Saints for the bad side, I went with Arizona for good. Just looking at that division I can't believe they're still hanging with the Niners and Seahawks so well.

I know, its weird, and I realized it while I was voting. I think its a mental thing for me, because that division is so good I just dismiss them when I shouldn't, but I didn't expect it. I'll admit its likely a bias for me, but to me that's the one. Second would be probably Cleveland, just because they look really bad on paper for the most part.

During the offseason I really felt confident they would pass up the 49ers and really give Seattle a run for it's money only because it's hard to repeat or even have a somewhat successful season following a Super Bowl.
But Since preseason I been optimistic.
Daryl Washington - year long suspension
Darnell dockett - season ending IR
John Abraham - season ending IR
Matt Shaughnessy- season ending IR
Carson Palmer has only played one game
And now the 2nd string QB is out.
So your forced to play 3rd string QB rookie.
Calais Campbell now is hurt so literally the front 7 is missing 5/7 ppl currently and a 3rd string QB.
The season will probably take a turn real quick

Yeah, I've been following Palmer a little, hoping he comes back quickly, my number 2 fantasy reciever is Floyd!

I almost picked the Giants, but went with the Saints. I follow the Chargers and Cards, closely so those don't surprise me. I also follow Dallas fairly closely even though I despised them for years but living in Austin I see them a ton and I also think Romo takes far too bad of a rap...he hasn't been the problem. In years past the only reason they have even been in games in the first place is him because they had no D or running game. Now that they at least have one of those two, they are suddenly looking good. If he has to save them every week because they have no other options of course he will force things and make mistakes at times and it will cost them.
Buffalo is a nice surprise because I am tired of the Pats...REALLY hope they beat the Pats this week.
I was a little surprised to see in the poll that Chicago was 2-3 because I thought they got lucky in a couple of games so I figured that although I think they are decent, that their record might be inflated a bit, but I guess knowing they are 2-3, that is probably about right. They've played a pretty tough schedule though.

Arizona for sure, considering their QB situation. When Palmer went down I figured they were toast, yet they just kept on rolling.
Dallas is a close second. Their defense especially has been better than expected.
