Who will make the playoffs in the NFC?

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Mon Oct 13, 2014 6:19 pm

I would have included Atlanta, NYG and Washington, though none of them have looked too good lately (but they are obviously not completely out of it), but only had ten options.

I think Seattle, Dallas, and Philly are locks. That's probably your 1, 2, and 5 seeds. Green Bay looks like the best team in the North, but I still like Detroit and Chicago's rosters overall better. NFC South is a complete crapshoot outside of Tampa at this point.

If I had to guess the seeds right now I'd say:

1. Seattle
2. Philly
3. Green Bay
4. Carolina
5. Dallas
6. Arizona

Arizona falters. injuries are going to be too much, dont trust palmer either.

San francisco, philly, nawlins, detroit, seattle, green bay

Yeah I wouldn't put the Cardinals in just yet.
So many injuries need 3 more weeks to make that call.

I think Seattle is fine
Broncos
Chargers
Cowboys
Packers

Going off those current team records they have had a brutal start.
Easily still a legit team beyond that

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

NFC is def tougher to predict than the AFC

East- Eagles
South- Panthers
North- Packers
West- Seahawks

Wildcards: Cowboys, 49ers

Lions and Cardinals also will be in the mix but I just don't trust Detroit in big games and I worry about Arizona's QB issues.

i wouldnt say that philly and dallas are locks. they've got off to a good starts but perhaps im just not completely sold on either of them to the point where id call them locks, that and i think it's gonna take at least 10 wins to make the playoffs and could come down to tiebreakers. the 49ers both are helped by having wins over both of them. the cardinals game will be huge for all 3 of those teams.

Its still too early to lock anyone in just yet. Long way to go and injures can arise and can change things for any of the above mentioned teams.

seattle is far from lock as well, they've looked the worst out of three teams contending for nfc west.

They haven't looked that great but they have played a pretty tough schedule so far. Their two losses have been to 5-1 teams.

However, I know they have a few key players out like Dallas does, but I am very leary of the 49ers when they become fully healthy.

Why is no one on the Detroit band wagon with me and 1 other? The Lions are kickin ass right now! With reggie and the rest of his teammates, they will make the NFC championship game. After that? The crystalball is murky for right now, but will become clear as we get closer to playoffs

they had a nice win today but kicking ass seems a bit overboard, this team is up and down and hard to predict, they lost at home to Buffalo two weeks ago. I have to see way more consistency out of them before thinking they are a team capable of making the nfc title game.

The Saints and Bears have played better than the Giants?

We shouldn't hear the excuses this week. Seattle is just a mediocre team right now.
