As one who prefers they play the sport and not do much talking, I feel the media has made football less enjoyable. Do you think the media has made football more or less enjoyable, or does it not matter?

Well I for one, would rather not watch pre game stuff. I'd turn in after kickoff sometimes, I think you can only preview so much.

Yeah same. I used to watch all the pregame stuff, but now it's just overload.

Reg. the OP's question, well you have to remember they only play once a week, so the media has to do something to drum up attention from Monday-Saturday. But they do it because they know people will eat it up.
