Is Eli Manning a lock in the Hall of Fame now that he has beaten the GOAT twice in the SB?

I think its a fair question.

Eli in both SB's out Bradied Brady. Brady in both SB's made clutch TD's and left Eli only like 2 minutes in both SB's to try to comeback. For all the the talk that it was Eli's defense that won those SB's people often forget how that defense still choked by yielded two late TD's to Brady and Eli had to go to work with that little time and actually came thru.

Eli to Tyree is arguably the GOAT SB play in history and his final drive in that SB is arguably the GOAT drive in SB history too which included that Tyree catch and in which he completed 3 or 4 clutch 3rd downs and finishes it of with a beautiful teardrop to Plax to win the game.

I think there is something to be said when a quarterback has not just beaten arguably the GOAT once but twice which I believe is not a fluke any more.

Eli also is winning SB's as the underdog and if you look at who has he beaten in the Playoffs its impressive.

Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau when Rodgers was the defending Champion and MVP along with being 15-1. Aaron Rodgers is also going to be a future Hall of Famer.

Brett Favre at Lambeau who is a first ballot Hall of Famer and was 13-3.

and of course the biggest prize that Eli has is beating arguably the GOAT Tom Brady when he was the MVP, set the TD record, Moss had a record season, and 18-0.

Eli would beat Tom Brady in the SB with a great final drive in which he delivered a beautiful clutch throw to Manningham to once again beat the arguable GOAT.

My opinion is yes Eli belongs in Canton.

For different reasons, I think Eli and Tony "I Can't Win In The Playoffs" Romo are on the bubble for the Hall of Fame. If winning makes Terry Bradshaw one of the top 10 quarterbacks ever and Joe Namath a legend, Eli should be in as well.

Let's get Kurt Warner in first and then worry about Eli
