The Emergence Of Odell Beckham May Lead The Giants To Have A Bad 2015

Disclaimer: I have a disability called Cerebral Palsy so it may be hard to understand me Cliffs notes: when Odell Beckham Jr made his debut for the Giants in October of last year the Giants were able to finally see what kind of speed he had on the field and they realized that if he had man to man against a corner that the corner wouldn’t be able to keep up with his speed so Eli could throw the ball ether over the top of the corner or over the middle of the field because the defense will have trouble catching up to him, on top of his speed he has great hands as a WR which means if he cant get separation from the corner Eli can throw the ball up and there’s a very good chance he comes down with it. With these 2 factors in mind I expect the Giants to increase the amount of throws per gm from 37.9 to about 40-42 throws per gm and there lies the problem because the oline is average at best as a result Eli’s sacks may increase from 1.9 times a gm and / or he may get rid of the ball earlier which may cause more ints. On top of that the defense may have spend more time on the field which means the secondary may have to cover WRs for longer since the Giants might not be able to get the same pressure on the QB due to JPP injury
