ultimately, I'm not really concerned with the records I gave 3rd and 4th place in the divisions.
I expect a few teams to be/have better records than i gave them but i'm not spending that much time on this yet lol.
I think the Pats can/will have a better record but still not dominate..maybe be wildcard or what ever but they still wont Be like last year.
If they make the Conference championship, I will still pick them to lose like last year and I wont be wrong.

but yes, its been 15 years with same QB so the drop off is eminent, whether its this year or next.

As much as I would like it to happen. I think we have to see Brady's decline first, before we can declare it.

they couldnt beat a good defense last year with weak QBs on those teams.
the decline is here

vs. the top defense & Von Miller going up against poor tackles. Not really seeing the decline just yet.

2-4 to end a season is pretty decline- esque, if you ask me

Like I mentioned to you the other day. The only relevant injuries that matter are the ones that happen to the Rams. Patriots, Cowboys, Packers, Seattle, Cincinnati and Arizona must all be in decline.

It's actually crazier to believe a team can be successful for 15 years straight without external manipulation. They finished last year with a 2-4 record and Brady against Denver in playoffs, kept Throwing the ball at the ground the first 3 and a half quarters. The decline is now

They were 3-5 in their last five games which included 2 road losses to the eventual champions (one in OT). Don't forget they had a rash of key injuries that were largely responsible for that skid after they started the season 10-0. It seems like you are trying to pinpoint an exact moment of decline in Tom Brady and it's hard to do so when in his last two games which were against one all time great defense and another very good defense, he combined for over 600 yards 3 TDs and 2 INTs and went 1-1. On the season he threw for over 4700 yards, 36 TDs and 7 INTs. There is nothing here to indicate a decline. It is inevitable, sure. It will definitely be sooner than later, but until I see some tell-tale signs that show up for a large enough sample size, then I'm not writing him or the Patriots off as an AFC contender.

I ended up with the Ravens losing the last playoff spot to the Bengals. Looking it over, I was probably too strong on the Cowboys and didn't show Seattle or Arizona enough love. No way Denver ends up under .500. No way the Browns win 2 games lol. I'd maybe swap the Texans and Jags by a game or two. It looks like I was too hard on the Eagles and actually don't think that Niners will be quite as bad as I had them. But, I just flew through it, picked the games in a vacuum without paying attention to the records or time of year or accounting for anyone having injuries.

its better if you click on teams name in standings and do their whole schedule. That way you see how much you are distributing the wins and losses

The biggest factor in most cases are health and injuries. Can't predict who gets hurt and who doesn't. most of us in here can predict many of the playoff teams as things stand right now. But if Peterson goes down, what happens to the Vikings. you all say what happened to my Cowboy's When Romo and Dez went down last year. You really think a team like even the Patriots makes the playoffs if Brady and Gronk are out for the year? Things change through out the course of a year. Frankly I still think Seattle might be the best team in the NFC. But ask Cactus Jack if he thinks his Seahawks will make it to the Super Bowl, etc., if they lose Wilson, Baldwin and a couple top defensive players to injury. Just those 2 key injuries to their defense last year for the first 6 games probably cost them winning the division. Just a couple key injuries here and there can cost you home field or higher seed and make the path to the Super bowl a much harder path.

I did it without glancing at the records after every week. Just judged it matchup by matchup.

Turns out I really like the Chiefs and Jaguars this year.

Hell, you were the one that brought up Brady. And after you get slammed in the face by the other posters about your post, the little boy wants to play little boy games.
