Jeffery has all of the physical tools to be great, but he's injury-prone as hell.

Still, Jeffery and Smith, with Jordan Matthews as the #3 receiver where he belongs, is such a huge turnaround compared to the dumpster fire we were putting out there last year.

I hope we never play Agholor again.

Based on the accuracy of his mock drafts over the years this is music to my ears (as a Cowboys fan).

As bad as Jerry has been over the years, he can always count on Daniel Schneider to make him look great. lmao here.

oh Washington likes its drama, i lived there during the 80's and they did many similar stupid things but with the 24 hr news cycle more stuff is reported than before

on the other hand i would like an owner who let football folks actually do their jobs
the Cousins situation reminds of the QB issues of the mid to late 80's never trusting the incumbent starter and sowing discord everywhere the fact that 2 of the better WR's left quickly should tell you the divisions go deep i hope the Redskins implode this year and i would not be surprised in cousins is traded by july

It depends on the draft but I think the Giants will be better than the Cowboys this season, no homer post. That Prescott/Elliott combo was a big surprise, no way they can keep their game up like that.

Can´t say much about the Redskins though. They lost a lot of quality but I doubt they´ll trade Cousins and they aquired a solid WR in Pryor.

Eagles did solid transactions, they upgraded the wr-position big time. Hate to say it but Wentz/Jeffrey will be off the hook imo.

We will know by week 3 how many weeks Jeffrey will be out. I'll bet he misses half the season to some type of injury, lol.

Funny coming from a fan of a team that has Dez Bryant.

The last 4 seasons Alshon Jeffery has missed 7 games due to injury.

The last 4 seasons Dez Bryant has missed 11 games due to injury.

Also the Giants suck. They aren't doing anything with Eli as their QB.

One massive difference between "now" and "then"...

Then - JKC for an owner and a hall of fame coach.

Now - Joke for an owner and a guy who won't be confused for his brother.

Jeffery signed a 1 year deal because he is betting on himself to get another larger contract the following year

Those types of deals almost always bring out the best in players

Not sure how to feel about Foles coming back. If everything works out ok (IE: Wentz stays healthy), it shouldn't matter much.

I like them moving on from Connor Barwin. He was a stand up guy who did a lot of things for the community (he took SEPTA to work for one lol), but this is a business and he hasn't gotten the sack numbers we need from that spot.

Sack numbers can be misleading, but sometimes they DO count for a lot.

You need to bring the QB down in this league anymore, not get to him a half second late or watch him step up in the pocket right by you.

Barwin is good at deflecting passes but I'd rather have a guy who can get you a sack at any moment.

A strip sack with your team recovering the ball is the most momentum changing play on defense outside a pick 6.

As a Cowboys fan who hasn't seen a true sack master on my team since the guy who retired yesterday I endorse your perspective.

If you have the time to go back and catch up on some reading in here, you will find that I have posted numerous times that I would love to trade Dez, especially now. Now its a matter of 17 million cap hit to consider.

Makes sense to trade your best WR after releasing your teams best QB. Rebuild mode.

You would be amazed at the number of Cowboys fans who think trading him is a good idea. I know I am.

And for the record - I'm not one of them.
