Obviously some teams have been unexpectly good.

To my regret, I doubt the Giants will win the NFC East... That game against the Redskins :banghead:

Check back with me in a couple of weeks. Still assessing my heroes.

3 teams from the AFC West will make the playoffs. One of which will not be San Diego. Stick a fork in them.

It's a strange season in the AFC. Few teams look good. The AFC North isn't as good as usual, as the Bengals look down, and I'm not sure about the Ravens. No one looks particularly good in the south.

The Raiders and Chiefs have both looked pretty good, but the Raiders needed a last second 2 pt conversion to beat the Saints and a botched snap, two fumble recoveries and two ints to squeeze by the lowly Chargers at home.

But you might be right more by default. I think the Bills might be better than the Chiefs or Raiders though.

I'm not high on the Raiders at all even though its nice to finally see them somewhat relevant again. It will be interesting when they go up against good defenses and their offense gets neutralized. Their defense is extremely suspect and will be their achilles heel.

I live in Oregon-1 year so far- but gave up weed 25 years ago.

the question is; what are you assuming with 12 weeks to go and nothing decided yet?

Just to clarify. You're sticking with the Bills, Raiders, Giants, Saints, and Cardinals winning their divisions, and the Ravens and Jags getting in as wild cards, with no sign of the Pats, Broncos, Bengals, or Seahawks?

And - he's suggesting the Iggles will make the playoffs in the place of the Packers.

what I've said at least twice here is I expect at least 8 of my twelve picks to be right. The Jags look shaky lol
I said no sign of the Panthers either.
I dont expect Saints to win division currently but still make playoffs with Falcons. The Current can obviously change for both teams one and two spots.

That's not the way you worded it weeks ago.

Let's start with who I think I predicted at the beginning of the year (anyone who cares enough can fact check, I'm not claiming this is 100% accurate) NE, Pitt, Houston?, Oakland with Cincy and I think either Denver or the Jets as a wildcard. In the NFC, Dallas, GB, Carolina and Arizona with Seattle and I believe Minnesota as a wild card, but I'm not sure. It might have been Tampa Bay.
Now it's as follows:
AFC-NE, Pittsburgh, I don't even give a crap about the South. Even if you win that division, you're still a loser, so nobody. I pick nobody to win the South, Oakland. Wildcards will be Denver and, thanks to the firing of Marc Trestman, my Baltimore Ravens.
NFC-Dallas, Minnesota, Atlanta and Seattle. Wildcards will be Green Bay and Philly.
I can't wait until the Bills and Rams relearn their place in the coming weeks so I can rag on them again and resume making fun of their respective coaches.

I never changed any teams. It makes no difference whether wildcard or division winner. A playoff spot is still a playoff spot.
