49ers To Offer Head Coaching Job To Kyle Shanahan

Would be funny if he turns it down.

I Would. He has his offense rolling with talent right now . It would be a complete rebuild. I would rather have defensive minded coach as bridge gap coach. It's going take a lot to make the 49ers decent again. They lost everything offensively except a couple line men who are getting older. Defensively they lost a lot. It's going be uphill battle. They need start with line and washing their hands of last remains of the superbowl run.

He won´t turn it down because otherwise he would´ve already declined the offer like Josh McDaniels.

I think the 49ers will start their rebuild the right way next season (nobody is unavailable, even Carlos Hyde). Let´s hope they hire an excellent coaching staff for their secondary...

might as well bring back kelly if shanahan and mcdaniels are your only options. shanahan hasnt proven anything to be a head coach in this league outside of having a famous last name.

So the Jags passed on Chip Kelly for Nathaniel Hackett. The Jags offense went up in every major category after Greg Olson was canned in week 9 so I guess I am cool with the move.

Some Jags fans are on the fence because all they've essentially done was fire Bradley and keep everyone else in place sans for a few position coaches. I will admit that the Jags looked like a completely different team once Marrone took over so there's that.

Chip nfl days are done as HC. I could see him being a good Offensive Coordinator still.

Wasn't that Cris Carter's idea?

He's a moron.

I agree. It should be the other way around. Romo for J.J. Watt and Houston's first round pick.

Doesn't hurt my feelings at all that choke artist Palmer is staying with the Cardinals. I bet you love it as well.

Don't love it. But it could be worse I guess. He's better than you give him credit. But, yes he's old, injury prone & on the decline. So that's a huge plus.

One more domino in my plan to keep Romo here as a backup falls into place...
