Could the Vikings get a 1st round pick for Xavier Rhodes?

He is a young good cornerback, not great but very solid.

Is Rhodes good enough to get the Vikings an extra 1st round pick?

For the right team I can see how he would be worth it. For example, my Panthers desperately need help at the corner, and I think that Rhodes would be a very nice fit.

Madden seems to think he's worth a first round pick, I'm leaning towards a late 2nd or early 3rd and a filler practice squad player.

That sounds more like a coach that has lost the locker room problem. Zimmer might be on his way out.

People in the NFL place a much higher value on draft picks than us fans do. Rhodes would not be able to fetch a first round draft pick. You would need to be a potential franchise quarterback (i.e. Garoppolo) or an impact defensive player (i.e. Suh or Watt) to fetch that high of a return.
