Max Kellerman (of all people) actually made a good point about the Pats: with a healthy Gronk, they're pretty much unbeatable. But without him, I don't see how they aren't underdogs. Brady is very capable of putting up a stinker without his top offensive weapon, especially against a Steelers defense that has played some excellent ball lately. The Steelers have been rolling, and have one of the best offenses in the league.

I'm taking the Steelers, although I'm rooting for the Patriots.

I have friends that are Steeler fans. I have friends that are Patriot fans. I'm picking NE but only because I want to see history.

You know, I used to really really hate the Patriots. And I think it was mostly because of all of their bandwagon fans. But the more I've watched them (specifically this year and last) the more I just appreciate how fundamentally incredible they are. I don't know if I'll cheer for them in the Super Bowl or not, but I want to see them there. So go Pats!

I've never really hated them personally, always thought they were like the Spurs of the NFL. Just a very well coached and well run organization that is consistently competitive. I don't care about their fans or the haters or any of the silly controversy surrounding them. I just respect the way they continue to get it done year after year.

This year, I really don't care who wins in either conference. I think whatever the matchup ends up being we should hopefully have a great Superbowl, but I think seeing a Rodgers vs Brady matchup would be the most compelling.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Steelers get there either, but I'm not much of a Big Ben fan so if they do make it past the Pats hopefully they go on to lose.

;)
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I would love watching Brady and Belichick win #5. Their fans would be insufferable... but how often do you get to watch history happen before your eyes?

As long if they thank Rodger Goodell in snarky way.

Goodell having to hand the trophy to Kraft with Belichick and Brady standing next to him would be pretty damn entertaining.

I hated the Steelers at one time. Not exactly a NE fan. Can I root for a tie?

Yeah, luckily there aren't too many NE fans here in Utah, and those that are are just the bandwagon jumpers so I can shut them down pretty easily. But living up in bjj country I might feel differently about the Pats.

steelers seems to have the ideal recipe for a super bowl winning team, solid poised qb, good pass rush, good offensive line, playmakers on offense.

And among those playmakers on offense - a stud RB. A serious stud.

My pick is Steelers for the upset. That defense has enough to go up to Foxborough & get it done, especially how teams like Denver & the Texans showed the recipe on how to defend Brady & the Pats offense.

Yep to the Falcons. :D

On a side note, it's really unfortunate to see Tomlin apologize for what he said in the locker room. Goes to prove that Antonio Brown is nothing but a primadonna and an airhead.

Whether you are a Patriots fan or Patriots hater, this is worth a read. Really a well-written, very cool article about the Pats organization:

This is going to be a tough game for my team. I expect Brady to play well as he usually does against the Steelers, but the Steelers run game can be an issue. I don't think any team can beat us throwing the ball all day but you can sure beat us with a run game and defense put together. That formula has been proven, thats how we always get stopped. I'm not sure how good the Steelers defense really is, they played two mediocre offenses in this postseason. However, Bell is a problem. If he has a very good game and the Steelers defense is as good as people say they are, we have a great chance as losing. However, if we stop Bell, the Steelers don't have a chance. With that being said I got Patriots 28-24.

I was there in person for Derek jeters 3000, and I have to say history isn't as cool when you don't root for the team
