I think that still is on the low end of Sherman's value but I wouldnt be tripping over myself to offer for a player that a contending team is willing to 'listen' on

Sorry, gonna have to say no to that.

I'm sad he's gonna play for another team. My favorite player. I guess I have to pull for the Raiders in the AFC, now. :dontknow:

Not a Raider fan, but a Oakland Bay Area native. Welcome Home Lynch, or at least welcome home for now then VIVA LAS VEGAS.

Can´t understand why the Saints did this. With Mark Ingram and their "pass first" offense, another RB especially one with high standards wasn´t really necessary imo.

And there´s a reason why teams like the Giants will (most probably) sign Blount instead of an all-time great like AP...

$$$$$$$$

Reason Peterson went to the Saints. No one can convince me otherwise. And - I'm like you. I don't get why the Saints did this either. He doesn't address a need.

Peterson puts butts in seats. Like y'all said, it's all about the money.

Which makes even less sense in NOLA. Those people go to Saints games no matter what. Drunkenly in most cases. Maybe they think they can replicate what the Cowboys do running the ball and keeping their defense off the field. I don't see how that maximizes Brees though.

To win and try and knock off a team like Atlanta, you need a running game with ball control and to keep Jones and Ryan on the bench as much as possible playing from behind. Only chance I can see the Saints winning with their current defense.

The Saints have never run a ball control offense and never will with Payton as the head man, and the Saints need no help putting butts in the seats like Otis says.

The Raiders got the finisher they needed and all they did was give up a 5th rounder plus the got a 6th rounder as well as Lynch the Raiders knew the needed him to challenge New England

I'm not certain Lynch will be the same player he was. Taking a full year off has a negative effect on a players skills. Especially if he wasn't working out as hard as he was before his retirement.
