Cousins obviously is not happy in Washington. For a quarterback who hasn't accomplished much how much is he worth? Does Washington risk only acquiring a third round compensatory pick?
Jimmy G-Cleveland is an obvious candidate for him along with San Fransisco. Only 25. How much is an unproven and good(not great) quarterback prospect worth?
Brees and Brady-if the Patriots decide to keep Jimmy G. and pay him next year Brady could become a free agent. If the Saints end up signing Jimmy G. Brees could become a free agent. What happens here?
Romo-he'll go to Houston, Denver, or retire. If Houston misses out on Romo and Cousins stays what do they do?

I think Houston fans are shaking their heads about now. They've already lost 3 of their defensive players so far in FA and traded their QB away (If you call Brock Lobster a QB, lol). I hope the yellow pages in Houston has many listed mental health counselors. Something tells me they have botched themselves here.

If I were the Texans (and couldn't get Romo) I would push HARD to get Deshaun Watson in the draft. That is a guy I think you can build a franchise around. And with as much talent as the Texans already have, especially at WR, I think he could be a perfect fit there. I really want to see Watson on a team like the Texans or the Jags next year.

John McClain just did a mock draft where he predicts the Texans will somehow trade up to #12 and grab Watson.
So, it probably won't happen because McClain is a fat idiot who is wrong pretty much 100% of the time.
Wouldn't mind seeing that, though.

Compared to what is left if they don't get Romo, that might be their best play at this point.

Cousins is probably gone if Redskins miss the playoffs by a game agian. He really needs a long term deal if he wants to stick around.

After seeing the way the Redskins jacked KC around, I'd say "probably gone" is a somewhat soft prediction.
I'm leaning to a "
No way in hell is he there in 2018" opinion.

Hoping he doesn't skip a beat, but you never know with something like a shoulder surgery. If he has a quick recovery though, it may not end up being such a bad thing to sit through the OTA's and rest during the offseason.

Everyone told him from day one that his style of play would eventually lead to these types of injuries. It's going to be hard for him because he is so competitive and all, but he seriously needs to think about being more of a pocket passer now that he is getting up there in years or he will end up like Tony Romo in a couple years.

Interesting Read on QB's & predicting success
QB's drafted since '99
(
MAVPY stands for Modified Approximate Value Per Year.)
If you aren’t familiar with MAVPY, in very general terms, a MAVPY of around 4 is NFL starter level, while a MAVPY of 8 is around Pro Bowl level. Keep in mind that MAVPY is an average of a player’s outputs over his career.
A little shocked at who's at the top of the list.

I'm sure they take winning into account. Among other factors.

Ah, ok/true enough. I'll take it with a grain of salt.

So am I. Especially when Wilson is on the top of the list.

So your finally back home getting ready for the draft I see. That's good. You have about 4 weeks to get back into forum shape again. The off season ends after the draft and things can get back to normal in here. I thought you were ill the past few weeks. I was getting worried. I can see by your last few posts that you are feeling just fine.

things have been a bit on the slow side lately. Just me and Otis for the most part. No blue around much and I think Jwise is in rehab.

Take it easy on the guy. He might be moving to the PNW.
