Because if it was tape, those guys are #3/#4 behind Rosen and Mayfield.

Re: NFL Draft Discussion
I’m starting to become more and more convinced that whoever gets Lamar Jackson is getting the steal of this draft. I subscribe to “The Athletic” and have been reading a lot along with watching a lot of his film. Someone is getting one special dude.

It's crazy how under the radar he is given how much of the league is moving towards his skillset. It's like people forgot about what Watson did and think that he's another RG3/Vince Young...while ignoring how much of their personality/coaching(Jeff Fisher is trash) played a role. From what I've read Lamar is far more coachable, for example the bit about them blowing the play dead during practice if he scrambled.

And one thing I really notice about the kid that reminds me a bit of Watson... he's always looking downfield. Add to that the throws he makes "downfield"... Give him a year or two to learn NFL defenses and I think he can be really, really special.
Can't wait to see Year 2 of Watson... FWIW.

I saw the Texans had a private workout for him a while back, it's a shame we don't draft until the 3rd round so pretty much no chance of grabbing him.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I still don't think he makes it out of Round 1. Someone is going to have the good sense to take him. I just hope it's not the damn Patriots.

Both will be in over their heads. Darnold isn't NFL ready. Neither is Allen (struggled at times against inferior competition & struggles with consistency).

I still think Mayfield and Jackson are the two who will have success out of this crop. But if all five are taken early that's fine with me. Because someone really good will drop to 19... or to a place where the Cowboys trade up to grab him.

Rosen is head & shoulders above everyone imo. Cleveland is trading up into our spot fwiw.

Disability aside, I the way he gets after the ball! He reminds me of the recent Giants Defensive Unit of Tuck, JPP, etc who were tenacious on the ball coverage!
ESPN said we were definitely interested in him. He'd be a HUGE hit in NY with his comeback story and all!

Re: NFL Draft Discussion
The only problem with Griffin is he‘ll be a 3rd/4th rd pick with all the hype. His jersey will be deadstock, so many teams will think about him IMO.
I won’t use a 1-4th rd pick for him tbh.
