With Flacco out Kaepernick is the best available replacement (still think him and RGIII are the best options on the QB-market).

I think Kap would´ve signed with a team already but beside the media distraction the money will be a key aspect as well. If he would play for small money he won´t be a free agent anymore but I guess he wants to get paid as well.
