Get off my screen, KC/Sea game! I'm trying to watch a hurricane!

Or the other way around.

Or both, whatever.

Both.

Sidenote: I don't like floods and I am tired of floods so please no flooding here please, please and thanks Mama Nature.

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

How are things in your neck of the woods Bro?

We are at the In-Laws palatial estate in Georgetown. Getting rain all day but nothing like what you all are gonna get... especially if this thing does what they say it's going to do.

Some good heavy rains this morning and looking like a lot more to come, but so far nothing too bad.

Our backyard has a flooding issue every time we get really heavy rain so I'm keeping an eye on it constantly, hoping the power doesn't go out and our sump pump keeps pumping. Got a 6000W generator as a last resort but hoping it doesn't come to that.

Been flooded so many times in recent history I'm used to it now even though it sucks ass. If it's gonna happen I just hope our pump keeps working, I can deal with a couple inches of water in the house(again), better than 5-6.

Anyways, hope everyone out there in the area of impact is doing okay, stay safe guys.

All good here. They live at a high point so all the flooding will be to the south. Of course there's a creek we have to hope doesn't take out a bridge so we can leave in the morning and head north. Glad they don't live in La Grange. They're getting hammered.

Damn shame - Rockport and Port A are two of our favorite vacation spots. Pretty much obliterated both of them.

Good to hear ya'll are doing okay Otis.

Still waiting on what is to come overnight and hoping it won't be as bad as I worry it could be, but what can you do but wait and see...and drink.

Somewhat kinda sorta back on topic, but even though preseason may suck, I'd sure love to watch the game tonight instead of sitting in the dark worrying about flood issues!

Though if the latter happens, alcohol etc.

It's pretty bad in Austin right now, so I can't imagine what it's like in Houston.

Ain't good...

We're leaving Georgetown in about an hour. I-35 looks OK. I don't think I've ever typed that.
