Texans first preseason game is on a Wednesday...what?

Bloody nonsense and rubbish, I say!

Still can't get here fast enough though. We're finally going to see some NFL action this Thursday night!

Looking forward to see a little bit of Jaylen Smith.

The only reason I know the answer to this question it because the Cardinals started their training camp the same week the Cowboys did.

That said, I'm so football deprived that there's no question I'll at least watch week 1.

Garrett rarely plays his starters in the 1st game of a 4 game preseason. He sure as hell isn't going to play them in the 1st game of a 5 game preseason. Only reason I'll bother watching is to look at guys I think can make the team. I'll be done by halftime if not sooner.

And they have the nerve to charge full price on top of it. I don't have season tickets, but If I did, I'd be livid.

Tex Schramm was the first to start tying Regular season games to preseason games. To get tickets for Cowboys/Redskins in 1986, I had to buy like number of tickets to a damn preseason game.

Couldn't tell you a thing about that preseason game but I can tell you specific details about the Cowboys trouncing the Redskins 44-14 on Theisman's birthday. Including almost getting tossed out of Texas Stadium.

Alcohol was involved.
